The STUDICODE consortium met on February 18, 2022 for its fourth event within the „Educators‘ Lab“. Goal of this meeting was to explore selected media formats that can be used for the STUDICODE online course. For the half-day event, nine educators from the STUDICODE partners worked in groups to produce sample content for the STUDICODE online course. The groups worked on the following media formats:
- animated infographics (sketching, animating)
- animated cartoon videos, interview-style videos (scripting, software, editing)
- drag-and-drop quizzes, interactive flash-cards and hotspots
At the workshop, the participants were able to work on their own educational materials. In the concluding discussion round, the STUDICODE consortium agreed that all media types mentioned above will be used for the STUDICODE course. Also, the consortium divided the various course chapters and media formats among themselves. Thus, the STUDICODE project will now move into its next phase which includes the course development.
This Educators’ Lab is the final meeting of a four-part series and represents an Erasmus+ “Learning – Teaching – Training” activity. A corresponding summary report will be written by the project lead and made publicly available at: https://www.studicode.med.tum.de/en/results
