Prof. Dr. Alexander Kurz

...  was professor of psychiatry at the University Hospital of Technical University Munich. He has co-founded and directed one of the first memory clinics in Europe and was a long standing board member of the national Alzheimer's Association. His main research interests were the improvement of pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments for people with dementia including carer support. Until 2022, he was coordinating several transnational projects on dementia care in South Eastern Europe.

Vildan Dogan

...has obtained her Master's degree in Health Science at the Technical University of Munich. She works at the department of psychiatry at the „Klinikum Rechts der Isar“ in several multilateral and national projects.

Prof. Dr. Catalina Tudose

... is professor of Psychiatry at the department of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Medicine and Pharmacy  ”Carol Davila” in Bucharest.

She is president of the Romanian Association of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy as well as vice-president of the Romanian Association of Neuro-Psycho-Endocrinology.

Also, Prof. Tudose has founded the Romanian Alzheimer Society.

Being the leader of the association, initiator and promoter of specialized services for diagnosis and care of neurocognitive disorders, she is setting up ”Memory Centres”, day care centers, coordinating large campaigns for information and education of the general public and is raising awareness about Alzheimer’s Disease.

Her current activity of research remains in the field of psychiatry and old age psychiatry.

Tiberiu Ionescu

...is a PhD student and assistant professor at the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest. Tiberiu has been working at the Memory Center since 2020, conducting mental assessments on patients who are sent there by their physicians for evaluations.

Irina Dutu

... is working as a psychiatrist while conducting her PhD at the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy. She has taken interest in cognitive disorders and became a member of the Romanian Alzheimer Association, trough which she has participated in numerous projects involving dementia.

Maria Moglan

… is a clinical psychologist and she specializes in neurocognitive disorders. She also serves as a clinical supervisor. She defended her PhD dissertation at the University of Bucharest on "Typology of emotional manifestations in neurodegenerative pathology, especially in frontotemporal dementia". Maria is also a member of the Romanian Alzheimer's Society's executive board, as Vice President.

Alexandru Pavel

...is a psychiatrist and an assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila" from Bucharest. His main domain of interest in research is cognitive impairment across psychiatric disorders and its impact on patient functioning .

Mgr. Alexandra Palkovic

... works in the Memory CENTER, which is specialized in diagnosis, treatment and education in the field of memory disorders and dementia. She is a project manager in international projects aimed on dementia, and also memory trainer. Her work focuses on healthy seniors in prevention activities, but as well as with seniors with MCI and severe stage of dementia in cognitive rehabilitation.

Mgr. Simona Vytykacova

... is a PhD student at the Department of Psychology, Comenius University. She is focusing on stress research in the context of psychophysiology. Currently she is working in the Memory CENTER, where her main specialisation is in cognitive function examination.
