The STUDICODE consortium met on February 09, 2022 for its third event within the „Educators‘ Lab“. Goal of this event was to review specific media formats that can be used for the STUDICODE online course. Selected media formats were specifically featured:
- Animated infographics
- Interview-style videos
- Cartoon-style videos
- H5P drag-and-drop games
- H5P dialog cards
- H5P hotspots
- Scenario quizzes
The group discussed advantages and disadvantages of these formats as well as their practicality for the STUDICODE audience. In the second part of the meeting, the consortium decided which types of media formats will be used in the different chapters of the STUDICODE course. The media formats were carefully chosen to meet modern didactic standards, ensure high satisfaction by students and portrait the topic of “dementia” in an appropriate manner.
