On June 6, 2023, the STUDICODE group hosted a virtual learning-teaching-training activity. Goal of the meeting was to discuss the feedback that the consortium has received by dementia and didactics experts as well as feedback provided by students who have enrolled in the STUDICODE online dementia course.
Excellent feedback on course by dementia and didactic experts
During the piloting phase of the course in the winter term 2022/2023, the project group has received excellent feedback from two dementia experts in Europe as well as a didactics experts from Bavaria (Germany). Their feedback was reviewed among the STUICODE lecturers.
Good feedback on course by students
After students had finished the online course, they were invited to participate in an evaluation in order to obtain their feedback on the course. The analysis is available here:

At the learning-teaching-training event, the lecturers reviewed the student feedback in more detail including presentations by the partner sites on the specific feedback that their students gave. Based on the discussion, the group agreed to make adaptions to the feedback questionnaire in order to allow an additional analysis.
Ideas to continue the collaboration and follow-up projects
The members of the consortium expressed their excitement to be part of the STUDICODE project. All lecturers reported that advancing their skills in medical education and online didactic is a valuable result from the project. However, the group also discussed difficulties can arose during the development phase of the project including structuring the course chapters and using the Moodle platform.
At the end of the event, the group shared ideas for follow-up projects – possibly under the Erasmus+ programme – making use of the learnings in STUDICODE and applying them in a new context.
